The Duckman-o-thon is on!
(I emailed this directly to those who expressed interest in attending, but I'm posting it here for posterity)
We're set to begin the Duckman-o-thon! The winning evening is... Monday!
Only two people expressed a strong interest in attending, and Monday was the day they could both (usually) make it. If attendance is generally low from week to week, we can skip a week if/when one person can't make it.
Mark your calendars; the first viewing will be:
Date: Monday, April 13th (one week from now!)
Time: 7:00 PM
Place: My house (post a comment or send me email if you are interested, and don't know where I live)
Other details:
I'm on the first floor, so ring the first floor doorbell. It sometimes doesn't ring if you don't push the button hard enough. Worst case, knock on the window to the right side of the door.
I have a housemate. I informed him that I would have people over on a weekly basis, but be respectful of his space. In particular, please refrain from opening random closed doors, because one of them leads to his bedroom. Also refrain from stomping on the living room floor, as his office is in the basement directly below it.
You're on your own for dinner, but if you don't eat before arriving, I have takeout menus for places that deliver. Including a really good Thai restaurant. I ask that you do not eat in the living room; we can pause the 'thon to let people eat in the kitchen.
