So I went to the post office today to get stamps. I used the vending machine, which gives dollar coins as change (which is half the reason I like using the vending machine). In the past I've gotten both golden Sacajaweas and Susan B.s Today, however, I got a new type of dollar coin that I didn't even know existed. This one is golden, so at first I assumed they were Sacajaweas, but instead they have John Adams on the front. And what's weirder is that there's writing embossed on the actual *edge* of the coin. It says "E PLURIBUS UNUM", "IN GOD WE TRUST", and the year.

Ooh, I didn't know Adams was out yet. They're doing a series of dollar coins, one per President, four per year. Grover Cleveland gets two!

I see. Further, I didn't look at my coins closely enough; I actually got 2 John Adams and 1 George Washington. (I'll trade you one of my Adams for a Pikachu...)

Also, a small part of the first batch accidentally left off the "IN GOD WE TRUST". I'd like to get one of those, though I bet they're pretty expensive.
